Your wedding day is something that you will cherish for your entire life. That is why people often hire photographers to take photos for an album they can hold onto for years to come. However, you may want to consider getting a wedding video as well for the following reasons.
You Can Relive The Moments That Matter
For as much planning as you have done for your wedding, the day itself is going to go very fast. With there being so much to do in a single day, you may be surprised to get to the end of the night and realize that it is over. A wedding video will allow you to relive those moments that matter the most to you. Things like your first dance or a toast can be remembered with photos, but you can actually watch them again if you have a video.
You Can See The Moments You Missed
There are plenty of things that will happen on your wedding day that you won't be able to see. If you are interested in taking a peek at things like your soon-to-be spouse getting ready before the wedding, the only way to do that is by getting a wedding video. It can help share those moments that a couple didn't get to enjoy together.
You Will Have A Lasting Memento
Wedding videos are a memento that is going to last a long time and is something that can even be passed down to future generations. You may one day want to share your wedding day with your children, and can actually show them what it is like. Wedding videos can also be great as gifts for family members that could not attend the wedding since it allows them to see what happened from far away. There will come a day when you want to watch your wedding video again, and the photo album is just not the same.
You Will Have A Professional Finished Product
The videos that friends and family members take on their phones are not going to be the same as a professional wedding video. Using high-quality equipment and camera lenses will result in a wedding video that is something you can be proud to show others. Using tripods, monopods, and steady cams can help make sure your video doesn't look like it was taken from a shaky handheld point of view.

When I was a child, it seemed like my parents never stopped taking photos of me and my brothers. I actually began to hide every time they got the camera out. When I moved out on my own, I vowed to never own a camera. I ended up purchasing a cell phone that had one, and after playing around with it a little, I learned how much fun it was to take photos! I loved it so much I went to school to learn how to be a professional photographer, and I enjoy every minute of my job. Just the other day, I took a look at all of my family's old photos and, I have to admit, I am so glad my parents took them! I have a little spare time to fill, so I decided to start a blog to share my photography tips! Come back often!
